2011, a tuesday
Slept terribly, up early. Finished packing, Mom made Chris and me a great lunch, and we hit the road a little after 9am. Drove all day, it was extremely hot, and there were a couple of scares with the engine temp, but all was well. After the monotony of Nebraska, hit a crazy lightning storm in Colorado, then some construction traffic on 270. Aside from that, made good time. Settling in at Chris’s and trying to make up for all the water I didn’t drink today by pounding as many glasses as I can before I go to bed.
2010, a monday
worked out, went to class, got our last test back, took a new test, learned about logarithms. made it home in record time, went to burbank for one of my last ortho appointments (yaaaay!). made an excellent dinner. watched ‘independence day’ for the first time in a long while, and still got teary at all of the usual places. I love being manipulated by movies :) speaking of which, spent a lot of the day thinking about ‘inception’ and the brilliance of its ideas…and how badly I want to use that dream machine! played the demo of the new telltale game, puzzle agent, then played some ‘prof. layton’ for the first time in months.
