2011, a thursday
Extremely sore. Spent the day working on the database for the Mars research project – over 630,000 rows and something crazy like 80 columns, so it took 5 hours. Read about Mars in between batches and during saves. Organized my school books and supplies, entered my class schedule into my calendar – MWF are going to be rough. Especially Monday. ‘Hotel Babylon’ and a big bowl of strawberry-banana crumble.
2010, a wednesday
woke up and decided I wanted to go to the beach. packed a little lunch, gathered up my pile of magazines and ‘the lost symbol’, sunscreened up, and drove out to pacific palisades! it was hotter than I expected but felt great to be in the sun. made one of those digiorno flatbread pizzas for dinner and holy crap are those things good – they aren’t kidding with those commercials. and no, they’re not paying me to say this :)
2009, a tuesday
got up earlier than usual (but still pretty late) and did my grueling jillian michaels workout dvd. i have a love/hate relationship with her. tried to fix the wifi on my iphone and failed. did laundry and saw those kids out in the parking area again. successfully called cops. did number puzzles and watched ‘the big bang theory’ until i got tired and went to bed to read.
