2012, a wednesday
Physics was nuts – there are over 750 students enrolled and not enough seats. Sed/Strat was pretty straight-forward; the other Kara in the geology department sat next to me. Field geology…yikes. It’s going to be super intense, but at least Ian’s taking it too. We ended up doing a whole class and lab session (that’s noon–6pm). And I didn’t bring lunch because I thought we’d be in and out. Was semi-delirious by the time I got home and ate. The crazy winds started up – 90mph gusts – and I spent the rest of the night filling in my midterms/homework due dates (all of my astronomy and physics midterms fall on the same days. fantastic.) and doing my Sed/Strat reading. Fell asleep sure that a tree would come in through the sliding glass doors and smush me.
2011, a tuesday
Yoga, lunch with Mom, we watched ‘Ramona and Beezus’ which was adorable. Watched some ‘Torchwood’ until it was time to pick up Dad from work and go to City Limits for taco night, except none of us ended up ordering tacos. Home, talked to Maria on the phone for a few hours, tv with Mom, read, bed.
2010, a monday
worked out, stayed in all day and read magazines and comics and listened to the rain. watched the first half of season 4 of ‘dexter’.
