andrew: ahh guitar! ahh car! ....must play guitar in car!

As fun as it is to have folks publicly comment on your personal life and emotional welfare, I would just like to correct the record and let you all know that the recent purchases were not, pre-baby crises related. The guitar amp was for another musician who joined us on the trip and if anything, my recent auto (the baby won't fit on my bike) and (ever existing) sound fetish (recent stack of stereo power amps) is driven by the increase of social time given over in the absence of a full teaching schedule. If you want to see pre-baby crises, play the tape of me being up at 2 a.m. with my wife wondering if the contraction she just felt was the start of, "the big push."

duly noted, however when i posted, i had been told that it was the baby-expecting jim that was slapping down the dough.

and wait - is there an actual tape of this? i mean are you committing the birth to tape and had the camera all ready to go? wow. i don't know anyone who's actually done that. oh no, oh wait...you're not going to whip out the tape right before the poor girl's first date along with the naked baby pictures are you? ack!

Underestimation is a two-way street.

wtf does that mean? look 'chimera beth' if that indeed is your real name, i removed your spam link and your spam email and thought about deleting your spam comment but decided to leave it up as a warning to your spam brethren, much in the way that heads on pikes were used to warn criminals of old to watch their asses or say goodbye to them.
