look what iit did with their mccormick tribune grant! look at that el tube! meanwhile northwestern lives up to its reputation of white-bread boringness with this poured concrete tomb.

Interestingly, if you look at the fact sheets for these two buildings, you can see that NU spent a total of $14 million, while IIT spent that on the tube alone!
