new people have moved in upstairs i think. lots of banging around and slamming doors and really loud footsteps and stuff - things i was spared of during my first year in this apartment.
from what was i also spared last year?
being woken up at 1am by the rhythmic thumping of overhead copulation.

I had some amateur (and I do mean amateur) rappers living above me last year. It was like 8 Mile every day of the week. They would replay the same bit of music over and over...starting at, oh, 8 in the morning.
Plus they had a terribly squeaky mattress. Thank goodness I only heard that once.
