i've been meaning to post these for awhile, but work has been crazy and i've rarely been home except to collapse into bed as soon as possible.
- robot + cupcake: a lovely story in photos.
- gloucester road tube art: it'll probably get dirty in a hurry, but still...why isn't chicago doing this?
- tower of grantville: awesome animated short. beautiful, creepy, frakking awesome.
- r2d2 usps mailboxes: yes it's true! wrapped mailboxes for the 30th anniversary of star wars.
- tales of mere existence: animated shorts that i've probably posted about before, but they're great enough to warrant another link.
- photoart: hawk takes photos and draws a little cartoon character of himself in them. fantastic.
- blake fitch's “expectations of adolescence”: 10 years of photographs of the same two cousins - see them grow up, change, try new things, etc. oddly compelling.
- ben franklin: an article about him that makes me totally want to reread the baroque cycle. ok maybe just a few chapters. that thing's like 5000 pages long.
