cool, but i don’t have a desktop, only a laptop suckers!
check out the cute mp3 player from hyundai. it is tiny and elegant, but no display and only 128mb. but it does have a mic and an elegant design that gives apple a run for their money.
after reading this article posted on gizmodo, i started thinking about the oled. i remember reading about the oled, toled, and foled a few years back on the udc site and i couldn’t wait until the day when i could own a foled. what would i do with it? i don’t know. who cares? (i think i got the link from popular science. shut up, i subscribe).
but then i found this old article about e-paper and its efficiency, but despite developer e ink’s nifty diagrams i can’t get past the fact that e-paper is only…black & white. ew.
*please excuse this crappy excuse for a title
behold the brilliance that is donet’s branding! i am so hungry just looking at it.
the roku soundbridge looks pretty cool…you know my cousin chris instituted a plan whereby every year he gets to buy himself one tech toy. that sounds like a good idea to me. i guess for me, last year’s gadget was my refurbished ipod (chris’s was a tiVo, so i have some catching up to do)…what will be next?
thanks to wil wheaton’s blog for the link to the second version of the flowchart of geek hierarchy. i think i fall around the third or fourth level. ok. fourth.
i bet when people were thinking about modifying their cars, they weren’t counting on something like this tricked-out car. ok…maybe they were.
things to note: light saber holder on dashboard, extra droid parts in cargo net
oh man oh man oh man did you SEE enterprise last night?? when t’pol just like ATTACKED trip and started to kiss him and took off her robe i about passed out from (not-so-surprised) shock and excitement. i say ‘not-so-surprised’ because if you haven’t seen this show – and you SHOULD – the writers take every chance they have to get the characters naked or at the very least topless or in starfleet-issue blue skivvies. oh i love star trek!
what did i get in the mail? the o’reilly catalogue! ha HA!! how deliciously nerdy is THAT?
since wil wheaton has a book deal with these guys, maybe i can score that.
i am in love.
i picked up the photograys (400) set yesterday and i have a cute little owl sitting on my desk now.
pixelblocks™ have only been around for a year, but their online retailers seem to be sold out of most or all of their sets! more versatile than legos and more structurally sound as well (i could drop this owl and it probably wouldn’t come apart), plus translucent!
