well, the trivial pursuit tournament was awesome – but we didn’t win…or place. it was HARD! tv themes that no one at our table had ever heard before, bizarro sports questions, airport abbreviations?? we did have a pretty high score though, and it was a lot of fun. i’ll definately be back to do it again.

besides that, i went to the dentist, the eye doctor, the orthodontist (twice!), decorated the christmas tree, finished the gingerbread bird house, put together the gingerbread house, and ate a lot of really good food. mm. the train ride was good too – i’ll probably take it back down for christmas, too.

tomorrow i get on the train to go home for the second visit out of 3 within 6 weeks. yay! plus – an added bonus: trivial pursuit tournament! (as if getting to ride the train weren’t exciting enough)

also, oddly, a copy of jane magazine got delivered to the office, and inside was, oddly, a zoloft ad. but you know what that means!! zoloft bubble!!

i feel awful. can feel my pulse in my brain. eyes exploding. might pass out. argh

so the other morning at 6am the electrics (memphis belle? anyone? anyone?) in our ceiling fan shorted out, scaring the crap out of kate, who was sleeping on the couch, with it’s loudness and burning smell-ness, etc. she left for the gym, so when i got up i didn’t know what was going on – i was just like, hm. this light doesn’t appear to be working. maybe it’s the breaker! so i go to the breaker box and start to flip the ‘off’ one and….HORRIBLE LOUD GRINDING NOISE FLICKERING ORANGE LIGHT BURNING SMELL OH SWEET JESUS NO

needless to say, building maintentance was called in. and we got a BRAND NEW nice dark wood & gold fan! woo hoo!

now if we can just get that pilot light fixed…and get our name in the directory at the front door…hm…
