after a preview screening of ‘the blind side’ in westwood village. first terry and jula saw him in the lobby, then we saw him again in the parking lot; his car was next to jula’s. was wearing nice button down and a vest and with a very tall woman who i assume to be his wife. he drives a quite expensive mercedes suv and it looked to be brand new. also he’s pretty good at driving in reverse from what we saw of him maneuvering out of the parking spot next to jula. then terry and i passed him and his wife on the sidewalk on our way to my car a few blocks away.

…at the garfunkel & oates show at UCB (which. was. fantastic! they’re having another show same time and place next wednesday and you should totally see them live). matthew gray gubler looked pretty much the same as the last time i saw him, but he was wearing his ultra-nerdy/cute glasses. justin long was way shorter than i expected.
also, last tuesday i saw noah wyle at my internship. i looked up and he was standing there and i had to look away so i didn’t stare. he’s super cute in person.
i can’t wait to see it again. might go tomorrow. it was SO GOOD. and funny! and heart-wrenching! amazing. and spock and uhura? so. hot. together.
god i was going to watch the season finale of ‘dollhouse’ but i don’t know if i can handle that much awesomeness in one night.
update: oops, forgot – we also saw nancy walls at the movie. pretty sure it was her.
in line in front of me at trader joe’s in silver lake. 90% sure it was the former hilary from ‘the fresh prince’.
last night i was boarding my flight from jfk to lax, and i walked by them in first class. yes, spencer still has the terrible beard, but he’s better looking in person. heidi is gorgeous, tiny, and has fantastic hair (though it’s the fake-est color ever).
…on the set of ‘bones’ at fox. i went to visit meghan on set and do a gift exchange, and as meghan was giving me a tour of the standing sets, we turned a corner and almost ran into michaela conlin. who is actually even prettier in person, if that’s possible. i also saw emily deschanel as she was walking away – meghan and i didn’t scurry to crafty fast enough to catch her.
also? visiting fox was terrific and thanks so much to meghan for showing me around, and her crew-mates for being so nice and welcoming! and holly – yes, i’ve stood in booth’s (david boreanaz’s character’s) bedroom. and i rolled around in his clothes. ok, i didn’t do the clothes thing. maybe next time.
arden and i were at LACMA checking out the philip lorca-dicorcia photography exhibition when i heard a familiar voice behind me. hmm sounds like santino, i thought to myself. but surely it can’t be him. i turned around. holy crap it IS santin—good lord he’s tall!
…at zuma beach (towards point dume). maria, clayton, clayton’s sister sue and i went to the beach today and he and a group of people had set up camp just a few feet away. he wore a blue square leg speedo and overall looked pretty hot. i think the woman with him was his ex, brooke burns and there were a couple little girls there too, and either were about the right age to be their daughter. it was a neat sighting, because maria and i watch ‘nip/tuck’ and i’ve been aware of him since ‘profiler’ and clayton and i have probably seen the fantastic four movies 20 times by now.
we also saw a pod of dolphins and a little seal that got separated from his/her family. it swam right up to shore and drew a huge crowd of little kids and parents that were doing a bad job of controlling them. we left a little after the seal showed up and i am still terrified that something bad might’ve happened to him.
